Its a fitness workout and therefore you do not hit or get hit.
Founded by a group of ambitious individuals & partners who have real Muaythai fight experience, a fitness business success track record, finance background and events – Muaythai.Fit is a blend of fight, functional, cardio & mobility interval fitness experience that provides dynamic, high-intensity & low-intensity workouts that are effective, fun and save.
Muaythai.Fit classes alternate between original Muaythai Fight techniques, working out with weights and body weight & cardio bursts.
Each day emphasizes on different muscle groups to achieve a fun workout experience, deliver real results and to help reduce the risk of injuries.
Muaythai.Fit classes also include Mobility & Relaxation, alongside Mindfulness to allow users to benefit from a strong body & calm mind. Just like a muaythai fighter.
Muaythai.Fit is for everyone interested to have fun, improve well being and get fit.
We welcome newcomers – the best time to start is today! If it’s your first time, our team & trainers will look after you in any class you choose. We do not have a “newcomer’s” class. Muaythai.Fit classes are created for you to pace, challenge and learn more about yourself & your body — you can set your own level of intensity and work in between the timed intervals as per your stamina, fitness level and on your experience. Heart rate feedback will help to pace yourself.
To make the most of your first Muaythai.Fit experience, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early for your first class.
The great thing about Muaythai Fit and the collection of exercises is that you don’t have to be “good” to start. In your first few classes, you choose a pace, exercise variations and duration that feels comfortable, safe but yet challenging for you. While our instructors will be pushing you, you ’ll be the one pushing yourself, insert yourself into the crowd, learn & train together. If you really don’t want to include fighting drills in your first class at all, you have the option to book a Muaythai Flex & Relax class and ease into the Muaythai Fit workout experience.
We recommend 2 – 4 classes per week as an optimal number, with 2 classes per week at a minimum if you’re hoping to see visible results, develop coordination, get flexible and achieve your other fitness & well-being goals. With 3 classes you’d do what most of our members do. But, as always, listen to your body — if your muscles are very sore, give them time to recover.
First, as with most things in life, individual results may vary. We also want Muaythai Fit to be foremost save, fun, a community and a learning experience – before a calorie driven experience.
Depending on your body weight and effort, it is possible for clients to burn from 700 to 1,000 calories per class. But it doesn’t end there. Vigorous participation can also help raise your resting metabolism rate so you can burn more calories even after you leave the studio. This is what is commonly called the “after burn.” Using the MyZone heart rate belts can ensure you working at your optimum. The use of the MyZone heart rate belt is optional, whereby we recommend it to get the best out of your workouts and track your results.
Most days, the functional exercises are focused on a specific part of the body. There are two reasons for this:
- It’s the safest option for people who really want to get fit fast — switching muscle groups creates the biggest impact and reduces the risk of injury.
- We come in all different shapes and sizes, and all of us have something about our appearance we ’d like to prioritize.
BUYING A MEMBERSHIP AND CLASS PACKAGES
You have three options — a day pass (sometimes complementary), class packages (5 – 10 -20 30) or 30-day memberships, depending on your personal fitness & well being goals & the kind of relationship you’re ready to have with us. As you ’d expect, the more you commit, the better the economics. Some markets also offer longer membership durations.
Lucky you! For your initial purchase of these special rates, you’ll need to contact our Corporate Accounts team [email protected] to verify your employment. The corporate rates are not available for purchase through the website, so reach out to your local studio for assistance with buying your package or membership.
Class packages are connected to each member and can not be shared amongst clients.
You can transfer sessions between member packages to gift your sessions or help out a friend, as long the sessions are used within the same market (local studios by the same owner only) in which they were purchased. Memberships are strictly non-transferable.
Our class packages and memberships are studio-specific. That means that if you buy a class package or membership at Muaythai Fit Bangkok, you can only take classes at Bangkok studio (if there are more studios by one owner, you can train there too). Ensure to read the small print or ask the studio when buying a package or membership for clarification.
If you commit to a membership, you can cancel it with a doctor’s order or due to a move out of the region. In either case, documentation will be required. You can also freeze it for up to three months for an injury. If you wish, you can freeze a membership in case of pregnancy. We support you and when you are ready to come back to class postpartum, you can take it at your own pace. You know your body best and we are so impressed with our Mamas-to-be and new mamas in class.
In summary memberships cannot be frozen for any general reason.
BOOKING YOUR SPOT
You only need to book a spot in class. As our members rotate from station to station, you will be assigned a station on first come basis. You’ll move with the timer and when the rounds switch.
It does not! The beauty of Muaythai Fit is that you get the exact same workout wherever you start. We ensure with a common warm up, that it is safe to start with any given exercise drill.
We know how much you love to plan so we open reservations 7 days prior to the class. All we ask is that if you are not going to be able to make the class, you cancel at least 4 hours prior. This allows us to make sure someone else gets your spot & can work on their goals, if you can’t make it! Anything canceled less than 4 hours before class starts is a late cancel, and you will forfeit the class from your package and incur a no-show fee if you have a membership. (See “What if I miss class?” for more details.)
If you book a class under your membership and don’t show up, you’ll forfeit the class and receive a no-show fee — which ranges in price depending on which city your membership is in. If you have a class package, you just forfeit your class. Accumulating 3 no-show-fees may result in termination of your membership. We do not want you to spend money on a product you do not use.
Seven days. At noon, exactly one week prior, we release all classes for a given day.
An example: Today is Monday, so you can book the following Monday ’s classes beginning at 12:00pm, and so on and so forth. For the most popular classes, we know for a fact that there are people who are set on their devices at 11:59 a.m., ready to book the classes once they open for reservations. We appreciate our committed members – becoming one of them.
We start and end our classes on time; as well as commit to all services outlined in your agreement with us. We want to provide a save, fun and result driven exercise environment.
The last minutes before each class are “get ready time”, which is why we require you to be present 5 minutes before the class start time – ready to go (dressed, wrapped etc.).
The team (instructor and members) need that time to finalize the roster and everyone ’s starting spots, as well as to accommodate the wait list and any needed moves. This process happened before the class and not at the beginning of class, as otherwise the class (the service we offer and commit to) would start late and you wouldn’t get your full workout experience.
If you are late to class (yes it happens to all of us) you will not be able to enter, as the studio doors have been closed. If there is a spot in the next class and you want to wait, it won’t cost you anything but a few hundred calories. Late classes can only be redeemed in the forthcoming class after the missed class.
Lots of our classes sell out. If the class you want is sold out, you can get on our wait list. As clients cancel, you will be automatically added to the class in the order you signed up.
If you secure a spot more than 12 hours before the scheduled start time of the class, we will notify you by email. If a spot doesn’t open by then, you still have a chance of getting in. Just arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts and once we have our no-show count we’ll start adding clients from the wait list in order of sign ups. Being on the wait list does not guarantee attendance & the wait list is a “first wait listed, first served” arrangement.
If you are outside the 4-hour cancellation window, you can always switch to another class that’s not already sold out. If you need to move your booking — but there are less than 4 hours until your scheduled class — that’s considered a cancellation and the above policy would apply.
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
You can find all information regarding our return policy on the Terms & Conditions page.
Yes! You can find options for your region on our Gift Card page or inquire with our hostess team in your studio.
Muaythai Fit is an adult playground (18+ and with exceptions 16+), we are not liable for anything left in our lobby area. We do not offer child or pet sitting at any time. We love the little ones, but all children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times and can only enter the lobby area the inquire about/ purchase services, receive other information, merchandise purchase or class bookings.
We strongly recommend you talk with your doctor about what is appropriate for you.Everyone is different. Plus, the details of each pregnancy can differ. While continuing a reasonable program of physical activity and exercise during/after pregnancy often can be beneficial, some modification to exercise routines and exertion levels may be appropriate. Again, we recommend you discuss what is best for you with your doctor, and make sure your doctor knows what a Muaythai Fit workout entails.
If you wish, you can freeze a membership for the duration of your pregnancy. We support you and when you are ready to come back to class postpartum, you can take it at your own pace. You know your body best and we are so impressed with our Mamas-to-be and new mamas in class.
It’s a strict No!
It’s dangerous and distracting to others. If you have to work, awaiting an emergency or for any other reason require your phone during the specific class time, ask yourself if you should take this class? For class please lock your phone; you get time to snap pics and stories before or after class.
16 is the magic number to attend Muaythai Fit, but if your parents or guuardian signed a release waiver or you are accompanied by an adult you can train with us prior turning 18. Physical fitness and readiness remains a key condition.
Our aim is to provide Muaythai Fit on a global level! We have a team who are answering global inquiries and assessing the right fit partners — where should we open up next? If you think people would love a Muaythai Fit Studio where you are, and you want to get involved in helping us determine if it makes sense, feel free to reach out to us on the Contact Us page.
